Toasty Toes from Whooga

Love London

The last week's weather has been divine, though somewhat unexpected - I was totally unprepared for a mini-heatwave, my feet not having seen a pedicurist for months - however with the weather set to take a turn for the worse again and snow (apparently) predicted for Easter, now might be the time to invest in a pair of bargain boots to prepare for the great British Summer's schizophrenic cold snaps and get one up on all your friends ready for next winter...

I know Ugg-style boots are something of the elephant in the room amongst fashion circles. Many hate, loathe detest and despise them, chastising their clumpy comfort and banishing them to fashion's Room 101. I on the other hand adore them. Let's face it, they are the closest thing you can get to wearing slippers outside. Having sampled many brands over the years, it's become clear that there is one in particular that's a cut above the rest. Whooga's boots are widely considered the warmest and most comfortable available. The springy inner fleece is thicker than traditional ugg boots which means greater warmth as more warm air circulates between the inner fibres. The fleece hugs you from your toes all the way up your calf and is best appreciated without socks. Boots are hand stitched with a special grade of Australian merino fleece. The leathers are twin faced meaning the inner fleece and outer leathers are one piece, allowing the boot to breathe, preventing sweating and odours. Twin faced leathers are also very light with each boot weighing a little over 500grams.

Available in classic tall, short and mini lengths in seven colours, as well as two different metallic leathers and a choice of four shades in a crochet style, the Whooga boots are currently on sale - the tall down from £155 to just £89. Now's the time to buy ready for next winter and save yourself £66, but hurry - there's only a few left in some sizes and colourways.
