FASHION, FILM and rum at Hotel Street, Soho

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

Enjoy fashion? Maybe you like listening to music? Or watching a film? Perhaps a spot of contemporary art is up your street? Maybe - just maybe - you love a glass of rum now and again?

Or... You could do it ALL at once! If this sounds like it's your kind of bag, then you should definitely check out Sailor Jerry's brand new venue in Soho.

Named 'Hotel Street' after the popular Honolulu district where artist Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins grew up, the venue sits in the heart of Soho and will open its doors to the public THIS Thursday (19 April) at 7pm.

Collins' was a tattoo master and his unique art will be on display in the Hotel Street daytime gallery and alongside his work you'll find the exclusive Sailor Jerry clothing and accessories range of clothing (which features a brand new Hawaiian range – so right now) lining the store walls. But it's at night when the party really gets started. The shop will transform into a dive bar, with the rum flowing and music blasting - livening up the venue to a whole new clientele.

And trust us, you do not want to miss the Sailor Jerry Spiced rum mixes – which include everything from Vanilla Mojitos (oh yes) to Daiquiris and Mules. And they're all available from midday to midnight.

And every other Sunday, things will get really special. Hotel Street will be hosting a film club, so you can spend your (probably) hungover day of rest kicking back with one of the old classics.

The full list of movies are:

29th April This Is Spinal Tap - Metallica: Some Kind of Monster
13th May The Filth and the Fury - Sid and Nancy
27th May Bob Dylan: Don't Look Back - Easy Rider
10th June Monterey Pop - The Doors
24th June Dogtown and Z-Boys - Rebel without a Cause

Advance film tickets will be available from 9am on Monday 23rd April 2012 via www.facebook.com/sailorjerryUK or in person from the Hotel Street store counter.

Hotel Street opens on Thursday 19 April at 7pm, the store will open on Friday 20 April at midday.
It's at 120-125 Charing Cross Road.
Opening times: Tuesday - Sunday from midday.
