Whoops! Looks like The Voice has taken another beating this weekend, despite the fact it was the show's big final this weekend, and this time it was Michael McIntyre who has been making the ratings-related jokes... and we have to admit, he could have a point.

The comedian made the comments on Friday's Chatty Man talk show with Alan Carr saying, "I had a load of jokes about The Voice when it started. I was quite excited about those jokes, but nobody cares about them now.

"I say to my audiences, 'Are you watching The Voice?' They are like, 'No'. They don't laugh at the jokes."

Ooh ouch!

The BBC1 talent show has been struggling with its ratings for the entire series, looming behind the likes of Simon Cowell and his Britain's Got Talent offering. Still, last night's final got some of the highest figures of the series with over seven million people tuning in to see talented singer Leanne Mitchell win. However, the figures were over five million behind the BGT finale and almost 10 million behind the usual X Factor final figures.
