If you watched
The Graham Norton Show on Friday night, you'll know that hairy comedian Russell Brand was one of the guests, there to promote his new film
Rock Of Ages. You may have even noticed the flirting going on between Rusty and fellow guest Emily Blunt - it was all very fun!
But behind-the-scenes things were all a-flutter! Because when Graham approached the subject of Russell's ex-wife Katy Perry during the interview, RB wasn't too happy...
According to
The Sun, Graham had commented on how Russell had been "very dignified" about his split from Katy, when Russell said,
"My mum is here, I was checking to see if my mum was all right.
"She got upset when you dragged up my marriage. I saw her cry, Graham.
"You made my mum cry. I don't see you as that sort of person, Graham."
The awkward exchange was not broadcast and was cut from the final edit of the show - but plenty of people in the audience would have seen what had happened during the filming in London.
And it poor Graham who had to address the issue...
"I don't see myself as that kind of person", he responded. To which Russell added, "And yet you are"
Since then, Graham is said to have apologised to Russ'... Like we say, AWKWARD.
