First arrivals at the Baileys Chocolat Luxe temporary space in Covent Garden will dine for free Monday evening

LEADING experimental chefs Blanch & Shock are offering their final dining experiences at the Baileys Chocolat Luxe temporary space in Covent Garden, Bar Chocolat, for free for the first people to arrive.

The first 30 to arrive for the two sittings at 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday 16th will enjoy the unique exclusive supperclub experience for free. Entry is strictly for those over 18 only and for a standard set meal.

The experimental three-course meal combines theatre and innovative cuisine with a three-course dinner laid directly onto a long U-shaped table, a style first associated with American Grant Achatz, one of the world’s leaders in progressive cuisine.

Bar Chocolat is an immersive, multi-sensory experience inspired by the pleasure of chocolate. Opened to celebrate the launch of Baileys Chocolat Luxe, Monday will see the curtain closed on the part exhibition, part supperclub space.

The South London experimentalists - Mike Knowlden and Josh Pollen - who trained at Noma, have brought all their René Redzepi-taught skills to a feast for the taste and the eyes.

All the products used within the meal have been ethically sourced and are true to the pair’s ethos of using homegrown materials that create new and exciting flavour combinations.

Baileys Chocolat Luxe is the first time that real Belgian chocolate has been fused with alcohol in a way that delivers the multi-sensory experience of chocolate in a glass.

Baileys’ Bar Chocolat closes on Monday 16 September. Free dinner is available on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first 30 people to arrive at 6.30pm and 8.30pm – food and drinks included.
