Michael Kors at House of Fraser

Love London

I've long been a fan of Michael Kors watches - to be honest, who isn't? The rose gold number I got a few birthdays ago rarely leaves my wrist, and though the plating could do with a refresh I still love it. However with the new styles now available at Watch Station at House of Fraser I fear I may feel a new purchase coming on...

The midnight blue face set in gold (MK8338 £229) is just calling out for a glamorous evening dress to be paired with; it manages to be gorgeously chunky without being too manly. But then that golden-brown face set in rose gold (MK5895 £229), so reminiscent of a semi-precious Tiger's Eye, would be a lovely daywear timepiece. I have a million pieces of jewellery that would pair up with perfectly as part of my summer accessories wardrobe. Having said that, who could resist the dazzling cobalt? The MK3272 (£185) is a little more delicate that the other two, but what it may lack in size it certainly makes up in stature - that face definitely packs a serious style punch.

Alas, my favourite, the one I have been dreaming of - Oh the turquoise! Anyone who may have seen the new SS14 ad campaign featuring this (MK5894 £229) couldn't fail to be enticed; bronzed model, white dress, ocean waves reflected in her aviators, shimmering turquoise timepiece on her arm. I mean, how amazing will this look with a tan? It's a seriously beautiful piece and has just jumped to the top of my summer shopping list. Honestly, I think I'm in love.
