Things to do in London this month…

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

Can you believe it? It’s nearly Easter. Spring is in full blossom and the daffodils are out. So what does our capital have on offer?

PICK OF THE MONTH

Lululemon comes to London

For the yoga bunnies out there, we bring great Easter news. Sports clothing experts Lululemon Athletica have come to Covent Garden – which means not only can you find their garms in the West End, but there are complimentary yoga classes on offer too - every Sunday from 10.30 – 11.30am.

Classes are taken by local instructors who come recommended and are suitable for all levels.

There’s also a Run club every Saturday between 10 and 11am. It’s all done on a first come, first serve basis – so head down to Long Acre and make it happen.

Easter Bunny Rave

Easter wouldn’t be Easter without some kind of rabbit-related fun – and this one is particularly great for the clubbers out there.

On Easter Sunday, The Book Club and Kigu will be hosting a silent disco at the Leonard Street Car Park from 2pm to 9pm – where 500 party-goers will be able to dress up in Rabbit gear, stick on headphones and dance like there’s no tomorrow (well, like it’s a Bank Holiday Weekend).

On the sound system will be The Cuban Brothers and Reggae Roast, but our favourite part has to be the Easter drinks and pulled pork hot cross buns on offer – yum!

Head to wegottickets.com/event/268156 to get your tickets, which also entitles you to 50% off discount code to purchase a bunny Kigu at kigu.co.uk

£5 menu at the Bermondsey Square Hotel

This month, the team at The Bermondsey Square Hotel are celebrating five years of hospitality, and to mark the occasion, they’ve introduced a special menu offer – with everything available for just £5.

Choose from selected cocktails (Pimms Royale and Elderflower Fizz) and finger foods (scotch egg, pork pie and crackling, trip of sandwiches, crispy beer battered cod with tartar sauce and more) – while you catch up with pals. Plus if you gather together five or more friends between 14 and 18 April, you’ll be entitled to a complementary bottle of champers at the GB Bar & Grill with your meal.

Just don’t forget to take a trip up to the rooftop while you’re there. There’s a hot tub and a panoramic view you shouldn’t miss!

April at The Ritz

Fancy a slice of the month-long Easter celebrations at one of London’s most prestigious hotel restaurants? Then head to Min Jiang, the Chinese eating house at The Ritz, for a mouth-watering menu of wood-fired Beijing Duck. Mmm!

Of course, it’s The Ritz, so prices aren’t cheap (£80 for half a duck, £99 for a whole one) – but if you’re looking for a treat, we reckon your mouth will be watering the minute you book in a reservation.

The signature menu starts off with a Beijing classic of crispy duck skin dipped in granulated sugar, with pancakes and traditional garnish coming up next. Then you can choose between spicy mint duck with lettuce wrap, soup, or a noodle or rice-based dish. Accompanying the whole meal will be a bottle of Louis Roederer Champagne. Sounds marvellous, doesn’t it?

Tables must be booked in advance.

Survive a Zombie Apocalypse

Ever wondered what surviving a zombie attack would actually be like? We all have, er, haven't we?

Well, welcome to this rather imaginative street game. Starting from a secret location, you’ll be handed a map and target location – and all you have to do is make your way to it, using clues and without being bitten by a zombie.

If you do manage to escape attack, you'll eventually reach the final stop, The Asylum – where affected and non zombie-affected humans will be taking refuge. Of course, it all ends with one big Zombie disco at the end!

The April dates for this event might be sold out, but there's still time to book yourself an early ticket for Thursday 1 May and the dates between Thursday 17 October and Saturday 2 November.
