So...I've been using this horse shampoo...and it seems to be doing a pretty decent job...
While the Original Mane 'n Tail did start life as a horse shampoo (no joke...), in recent years it's gained something of a cult status as the go-to hair product for thicker, fuller, longer, stronger hair. Seems too good to be true, so when I spotted in in the LIberty Beauty Hall recently I had to give it a go.
Originally created on the Katzev family horse farm in rural New Jersey, USA, Original Mane 'n Tail Shampoo & Conditioner were specifically targeted at show horses. The outstanding formula took off amongst equestrian folk who, somehow, discovered it worked just as well on human hair.
The shampoo formula contains high lathering and ultra-cleansing agents that are fortified with moisturisers and emollients to help leave hair soft and ultra clean. Followed by a conditioner that helps nourish and aid healthy hair growth, leaving hair looking lustrous and silky. I've only been using it a week but my hair does certainly feel thicker than with my usual shampoo. At £7.00 each, they're not too pricey, but then again if it works and actually does result in thicker hair and increased growth, then it's a darn sight cheaper than extensions!
