With the weather most certainly on the turn (I admitted defeat and put the quilt back on my bed last night. Bad times.) all my thoughts are definitely on my autumn wardrobe and no more so than on an impromptu visit to Westfield last night. Killing time in Zara I was, of course, completely seduced by its new drops. It's like a drug. I couldn't resist.
Thought I could have easily dropped a grand in there, I was extremely restrained (until payday...) and managed to control my spending to this one standout piece. The acrylic and wool mix hooded cape is the ideal transitional piece for when it's a bit too nippy for a jacket but not quite cold enough for a real coat yet; so most of the next two months really. A little bit Lord of the Rings-esque in its look, I love it and will be teaming it with my neverending array of autumnal scarves, skinny jeans and riding boots.
