Temperley London Pops Up on the Kings Road

Love London

One of my all-time favourite brands has opened its first pop up shop on the Kings Road.

Temperley London's new abode opened its doors on Thursday and will be in residence at SW3 until February. Featuring a special edit of the Autumn and Winter 2014 collection, it offers a snippet of the best bits of the brand to those looking to curate the perfect AW14 wardrobe.

I've long been a fan of Temperley's work, ever since first setting eyes on her beautifully ethereal and so whimsically English designs back when she was a new kid on the block and I was a GSCE textiles student. To own a Temperley piece is my fashion Hoy Grail; perhaps a little visit to the new store may be in order after all.

Alice Temperley herself said of the launch; “This pop-up on the iconic Kings Road will offer a great selection of Temperley London in a relaxed shopping environment for a new group of shoppers, perfect for the upcoming holiday season.”

The store is an addition to the brand's London portfolio which includes the original boutique housed in a row of converted mews houses in Notting Hill, which was followed in 2012 by a brand new Mayfair flagship and HQ. “The pop-up store is a response to requests from our West London customers who will relish the chance to have a Temperley London shop right on their doorstep. The store will also help us access a new audience and understand their needs.” Ulrik Garde Due, CEO
