Diane von Furstenburg Talks at the V&A

Love London

Diaries at the ready; you certainly won't want to miss this. Next Thursday, November 6th, fashion legend Diane von Furstenburg will be in our midst as she visit the V&A Museum for a very special one off talk, Diane von Furstenburg: Journey of a Dress in collaboration with Rizzoli.

At 1.30pm (until 2.30pm) in the The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre Diane will be talking about her 40 years as a groundbreaking designer and fashion icon and the dress that started it all in an interview with Claudia Croft, Fashion Editor of the Sunday Times.

Renowned both for the creation of the timeless wrap dress in 1972 and later for the building of a global luxury lifestyle brand, DvF took the fashion world by storm - within a couple of years over a million of her iconic dress had been sold.

The talk is followed by a book signing. Extend your lunch break, I'm sure your boss will understand. If they don't, call in sick*. You need to be there.
