There's a new website on the block bringing together the cream of Californian and Australian fashion labels in one place.
OverMyBody.com features up-and-coming labels like Finders Keepers, Cameo, The Fifth and For Love and Lemons, combined with Antipodean favourites such as One Teaspoon and Minkpink to create a UK home for international brands.
Founder Jessica Thomas, said: “British women are becoming more and more aware of the fantastic offerings from Australian designers in particular, but are struggling to get hold of them quickly and at a reasonable price. We’ve bought together only the most unique and affordable hard-to-get international brands so they can now all be found on one UK based site.”
Ex-journalist and PR, Thomas came up with the idea after becoming frustrated with trawling dozens of e-commerce sites for the perfect dress for an event, “I found that my options would end up being limited to expensive designer products, or items from Australian or American sites which would cost an arm and a leg to get to London and take forever to ship.
“We aim to close this gap - there are just so many amazing yet affordable Antipodean and American labels which British women shouldn’t have to miss out on.”
