Fresh Goods from Radley

Love London

I love this time of year for fashion, when the new spring summer collections are slowly but surely creeping into the shops and I start a little wish list of what I want to buy for the season. It inevitably always gets slashes in half when I realise I've mentally spent all my wages, and probably ends up being whittled down to half a dozen pieces in total, but if I plan things right they can be pieces I will keep season after season.

After seeing Radley's new spring campaign this week, I've got a sneaky suspicion that one of their bags will be making it on to the shortlist. Fresh Goods, shot on the streets of London, expresses the colourful, playful and oh so British personality of the brand; vibrant, colourful and atmospheric, it's quintessentially British in its subtle wit and playful nature seen through both the model and the settings.

Since refreshing its look in recent years, Radley has become something of a go-to brand for me; whilst the Westie logo is retained for its die-hard fans, the most recent collections have been slick, sophisticated and elegant, the epitome of pared-back luxe and the perfect addition to any working wardrobe.

The Bloomsbury bag pictured, in its vivacious fuchsia pink, orange and a splash of lilac, has my name written all over it. I've got a feeling it's going to be on my SS15 shopping list...
