I'm a big fan of a scented candle, firmly of the belief that more is more, but truth be told my propensity for Diptyque and Jo Malone would have me bankrupt if I didn't mix up purchases with less expensive brands.
Hence why I was thrilled to discover this little gem in none other than Boots. Coming in at a mere £12 (and yet looking SO much more expensive that its humble price tag), the Florence Anne Blackcurrant and Fig Scented Candle is a serious contender as a dupe for Diptyque Baies (my all time favourite scent) or Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay.
The fragrance is rich and sophisticated with vibrant juicy blackcurrant, fresh coriander and davana oil evoking luscious green Mediterranean fig, it fills the room with a heady, cosy aroma that lends itself perfectly snuggly evenings in, escaping from this hideous cold.
