Just in time for the dreaded V-Day, a personal favourite of mine, Chloé has released its brand new fragrance, the irresistable Love Story. If you don't have a significant other to buy you presents this weekend you might want to get this one for yourself; trust me, it's worth it.
Following on from the success of the original Chloé scent, Love Story is a blend of sensuous orange blossom with stephanotis jasmine (the flower of happiness) and a base of cedar wood. It manages to be fresh and clean, ever so slightly floral and feminine but 100% sexy with it. It reminds me very much of the now-discontinued Gucci Envy Me, a past favourite of mine and definitely not a bad thing.
The fragrance is housed in a delicately beautiful bottle, echoing the brand's famous padlock, and French actress Clémence Poésy returned, four years after her first appearance, to once again become the face of the fragrance; surely the perfect pairing, who else could nail the casual insouciance and delicate romanticism than the gallic beauty?
It's a stunning scent and one you would be hard-pressed not to fall in love with. A little tip boys, snap up a bottle of this before Saturday and you'll be golden.
