At long last, ASOS has cottoned on to the fact that the bridesmaids dress market is (predominantly) hideous and that the last few years has seen a huge increase in brides dressing their gal pals in high street frocks. Step forward their newest venture, ASOS Bridesmaids, a just-launched first foray into wedding attire and almost certainly an answer to prayers of brides-to-be up and down the land.
The 30 strong collection comprises multi-styles in complementary fabrics, colours and prints, designed to be mixed and match - no longer will bridesmaids have to suffer in silence, all along knowing that Tits McGee and Skinny Minnie are never both going to look good in the same dress. Huzzah!
Floral prints across a range of silhouettes cater to different body shapes, while tones of lilac and lavender with embellishments and contrasting textures add depth to each individual style. Sorbet shades of mint and lemon complete the collection and can be worn mismatched to add contrast and personality.
Bridesmaid or not, there's more than one style I'll be adding to my wedding outfit arsenal this summer.
