A Floral Getaway for Chelsea Fans

A Londoner Travels

London has been bitten by the Chelsea Flower Show bug this week with the whole city in full bloom. If, like me, you missed your chance to attend this year, you might be interested in a floral-themed getaway to Amsterdam.

Somewhere I've always wanted to visit, the new package available from the Hotel Pulitzer is also celebrating the season of blooms at the moment, the perfect excuse to hop on a post-work flight (1h15 minutes from City Airport) and enjoy a cheeky weekend in one of Europe's most iconic botanical cities.

The Amsterdam Flower Trail package takes in popular Garden Open Days, starting in June, as well as tickets to the Amsterdam Tulip Museum, located just a stone's throw from the hotel, and a crack-of-dawn guided tour of the Flora Holland Flower Auction, the world's largest indoor flower auction house can also be arranged at an extra cost. Whilst in town make sure to visit the incredible Keukenhof (www.keukenhof.nl), 32 hectares of flowers and garden with over 800 varieties of tulips.

Back at the hotel guests can enjoy a Lillet Rosé Cocktails using edible flowers, seasonal flowers in-room, a tulip welcome gift and a Floral Turndown including a lavender oil bath, rose petal bed and camomile tea. I'm off to book my flight...

Available until 31st August, priced at €250 (approximately £180). For more information visit www.pullitzeramsterdam.com
