London Dog Blog – Support PupAid in Primrose Hill on Saturday 5th September

Dogs in London - The London Dog Blog

PupAid is an annual event providing a great day out for the family (including, of course, the dog) and raising awareness about the UK’s puppy farming trade. It is the brainchild of vet, author and TV presenter Marc Abraham and is now in its sixth year.

Between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 5th September 2015 on Primrose Hill there will be dog boutique stalls, a variety of food stalls (including vegan), acoustic music and a novelty dog show with classes including Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, Child’s Best Friend and Coolest Dog in London.

There will also be some dog displays – including demonstrations by Hearing Dogs and The Southern Golden Retriever Display Team – as well as an opportunity to have a go in the agility ring. There will be a parade of ex-breeding bitches rescued from UK puppy farms.

There will be an opportunity to get your dog micro-chipped which is due to become a legal requirement in 2016.

Numerous celebrities support PupAid including: Ricky Gervais, Brain May, Elle MacPherson, Liam Gallagher, Sarah Harding, Meg Matthews, David Gandy, Sue Perkins, Lucy Watson, Rachel Riley, Matt Johnson and Ashley James and hopefully some will be there with, of course, their four-legged friends.

Alfie and I plan to go along – we hope to see you there!
