Three of the Best: Autumn Embroideries

Love London

Folksy embroidery is set to be big news this autumn, with every brand under the sun embracing craftsmanship in a big way and adding a touch of needlepoint to their collections. From high street heroes to catwalk beauties (see Alice Archer's incredible debut collection, shown at LFW in February) there's something for every budget. Here are three of my favourites that won't break the bank.

New Look have absolutely won the high street embroidery game; this completely dreamy bomber was the hit of their AW16 with everyone who stepped through the door fawning over it, me included. It hits stores in September (£44.99) but be quick - it's definitely going to be a sell out within days. (See also their denim jacket...) www.newlook.com

Remember the heady days of Faith being your number one port of call for shoes? Well luckily they are still sold in Debenhams and this pair of booties (£69 - launching September) are definitely on my AW shopping list. To be worn with a cropped jean, crisp shirt and layered sweater. Perfect. www.debenhams.com

Rebellious denim specialists Liquor n Poker know what they're doing when it comes to embroidery, with half their collection embellished for glorious threadwork. These Lizzie dungarees are sartorial winners, but act fast - they're in the sale and won't last for long. Reduced from £38 to £19, at www.liquornpoker.co.uk/
