With the traditional format of waiting six months for the spoils of fashion week's catwalk shows to reach the shops falling increasingly by the wayside, Topshop Unique yesterday became the latest brand to bring their collection straight from the runway to the shop floor.
With a healthy dose of 80s power dressing, cropped boxy shapes, a plethora of zebra print (who knew?) and a smattering of velvet, the Topshop Unique collection was a smorgasbord of sartorial delights, but it's the Tybalt skirt in particular that's struck my fancy.
That magenta lace is calling out for a chunky knit and knee high boot; it's practically begging to have a place in my new season wardrobe. Isn's it a beaut? Who am I to deny it it's wishes. Sold to the lady in pink.
