There's something about making Christmas presents that makes me feel all warm inside, which is why I'm slighty overexcited at the news that this weekend the London Edition have a duo of Christmas workshops to get your creative juices flowing.
NATURAL SCENTED CANDLE-MAKING WITH MCKINLEY & PAGET
Sunday 20th November, 13.30 – 15.00, Basement at The London EDITION (£48.70)
After being introduced to the full scent library, each guest will be given the opportunity to create their own blend using all natural essential oils. They will then be guided through the candle making process to create a double wick candle that burns for approximately 90 hours. Each of the candles will be presented in a glass jar and guests will be able to create their own personalised label.
During their workshop the founders Jake Paget and Daniel McKinley will go through the process of making a high quality, all natural, scented soy wax candle. From wicks to wax to fragrance.
WREATH MAKING WITH GRACE & THORN
Sunday 20th November, 16.00 – 17.30, Basement at The London EDITION (£101.87)
Grace & Thorn will show participants how to create seasonal wreaths in their classic style, inspired by the Dutch Masters. Concentrating on texture, colour and design, a carefully curated selection of the best of seasonal foliage. Decorations and accessories will be provided to adorn a pine based wreath, to create a final product inspired by the worlds of nature, art and fashion.
