would have given a 0 rating. food was abysmal and obviously is a tourist trap.
went for gammon and egg. food was obviously pre-cooked and the fried egg came out close to being scrambled. service was very poor and although complained that foos was inedible waitress pointed to other customers as if i had to accept that if they ate it then so could i.
seems a shame as the decor is very fitting and the pub on a whole looks good. be warned if your a londoner this should be struck off any eating list you have.

Went to this place and bought a curry. Unfortunately it was disgusting, tasted like curry powder mixed with water!!! My brother even found his egg and bacon was hard to eat (cardboard hard). My sister in law bought a steak and Ale pie and couldn't eat this heated up tripe because it was like a board. When she asked for a refund because clearly their meals were inadequate she was refused one . Eat here and waste your money!! Place itself looked nice...shame!

The most expensive pint in london £4.20 a lager, walk 200 yards up the road to the lonsdale and get one for £2.10?, this place has to be around just to fleece the gullible tourist , iv lived on the st for 10 years and only tried the place to meet someone there from out of the area, now i know why its never on any locals agenda.

The newly refurbished Duke of Wellington has so much to offer, great service, tasty food, very good beer selection and even seating outside, it’s my new favorite local!
