We visited Jewel last Friday night. We found the place extremely elegant and smart yet totally un-pretentious like some other venuest in the area. The music was fantastic, food and cocktails - superb and an all-round great vibe. Thank you Jewel, we will definitely be back soon!

Quite a funky sort of place. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I would recommend that you reserve a table as that seems to be the norm. Otherwise you are left standing at the bar all night.

We found this bar a real disappointment. The food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, and the drinks, similar. It seemed nice enough when we arrived, however, the nature of the staff was very dismissive and 'fake' friendly. The manager in particular was intolerable, and in fact rather insulting. For this venue to improve at all, they would have to reconsider there employee structure drastically. Overall - rather intimidating and over-rated.
