Have eaten there twice and was staggered at the quality of the food. Especially the Duck Liver Pate and Tempura squid & Muscles plus they bake their own bread daily. This is a great place to eat or drink wonderful decor very spacious and with not too much crazy crap on the walls. They have excellent live music and only a stones throw from Battersea Park. I would agree that the staff are not the most attentive but 'it is a pub' for all the fancy titles foodies like to give these places.... Order your drinks at the bar and food at the table and you'll have a great time. vibes.

I'd heard good things about this pub but unfortunatly I was really disappointed. The staff were rude and the atmosphere wasn't that great. We went on a Saturday night and the staff threw everyone out at 11.05 in a particularly unfriendly way. Doesn't come across as a very good place to go with friends and not a place I will be going to again.
It seems as if the pub has become part of a chain with no soul and with only two things in mind. Making money, and the staff leaving at 11.20 on the do. Without taking into account the customers. If you want a quick pint with no service this is the place to go. If you want a friendly local then look elsewhere.
