I visited the Railway tavern last week and was very impressed, the whole pub has been done up and the beer pumps and drip trays shone! service was friendly and quick (and offered a choice of 3 real ales)- even when the pub became busy and my food (pizza) arrived within 15 mins. Its a typical pub type pub downstairs although I had a walk around and the upstairs room has sofas and quieter music making it a lovely place to share a bottle of wine over dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone.
