I had fantastic saturday night at The Artesian Well! The middle floor is my favourite, the absolute best music playing all night. My feet were hurting of dancing too much. I’m a regular at Artesian but saturday night was sooo great. Also, the most hilarious and friendly doormen you will ever meet, me and all of my friends got a huge hug and an ‘I love you’. Can’t start a night out better! x

I organised my best friends leaving party at the artesian well last Saturday and I was so happy with the great help and service I received from the staff. They went beyond what they had to to make sure that the night went just as I planned. It was a surprise party so there was alot of planning. They opened up early just for me to be able to decorate our reserved area with balloons and banners. As soon as my friend came I asked for a bottle of champagne to be brought to her table and so it did right on time - with sparklers! The music throughout the whole night was great, we were free to roam t

Fantastic venue, loved the DJs on the ground floor and loved the Crepes x. Venue decor is the best I have seen and heard that venue belongs to a very famous Sculptor? All my guests loved the Sofa room I had reserved for our joint birthday. All my guests had such a good time. Definitely will have my next birthday there again. Thank you to all the staff x x

Thank you Artesian bar staff you are great. Lovely people very friendly and polite. Our group had an amazing night to remember for very long time. The interior is the best we have seen and we had such a lovely table/area reserved by the fireplace. The cocktails are really nice and the music is absolutely the best. Love the DJs on the ground floor and the second floor. Will be back very soon. x

Stunning venue nothing like I have been to before. We had such a great night and really enjoyed the music. Really tasty cocktails but bar wait was little long. I also wished we had reserved a table beforehand as everything was reserved and we had nowhere to sit. I loved the top room. Lovely staff, very friendly.

I was recommended The Artesian Well by a friend who had her birthday there. I decided to spend New Years Eve and because it was one of my friends birthday also I recommended to her that we spend the night at Artesian. I am so pleased that we decided to spend it at Artesian Well. We had such a great time on New Years Eve. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly and chocolates. Than we were shown to our table that we reserved and it was the best I’ve ever been to. We had a section in The Sofa room right by the fireplace. Such an amazing decor not like a usual place you see everyday. We managed to

Loved the place, so unique and great vibe and classy clientele. Heard about the council trying to close Artesian and other venues at midnight, huge mistake. There will be nowhere for us to go. The main reason I moved to Clapham was the amazing nightlife. Don’t they realise that these unique places make Clapham what it is?

I never write reviews but I have to really say thank you to all the door and bar staff at Artesian lovely people. I had a table reserved and arrived at 8pm to be greeted by a lovely lady on the door which directed us to our table which was in the ground floor next to the gorgeous fire place. We could even see the DJ booth right opposite us in the main room. Two DJs as duo rocked the place his name was Brett x. I saw some old review saying the decor was tacky... It is the best and prettiest place I have ever seen and believe me I have travelled a lot and seen many many places. Its like walking

I was in artesian well last night for a friend’s birthday and had an amazing night. Started out nice and quiet with a few cocktails talking to friends and ended up dancing all through the night in the moody room.

The Artesian Well. Your perfect evening out if it involves queueing, buying overpriced drinks and experiencing the dubious pleasure of the neanderthal bar manager scraping his knuckles on the ground, pausing only to pluck some fleas from his rear and gobble them down, whilst attempting to lord it over the "lesser people" - i.e. anyone other than him. Unfortunate, considering he's about as articulate as a pregnant slug with an over-abundance of slime (but with far less charm). He'd be better suited to a career as a Nazi camp guard in another age; or is that a camp Nazi guard, judging by his self-important mincing?

We'd reserved the upper area for a private party with a band, and when looking to rearrange some of the furniture, he immediately adopted an aggressive tone, thrust his crotch forward and stomped his feet down, maintaining that "MY furniture is not going to be moved," before explaining confrontationally that his DJ equipment was worth more than the NASA space programme and therefore he didn't anyone plugging into it. A simple, polite "no," with a brief explanation would have done. But, as he launched into his elaborate explanation, I began to realise that his IQ was actually closer to his shoe size than his age, and his management style can be captured in two words: AGGRESSIVE SHOUTING.

He "summoned" us to have a word with him by clapping his hands, as if we were naughty 8 year olds and talked at me for a while; when I explained that I didn't like being spoken to in this manner, he shuddered orgasmically, shouted for his bouncer minions in a high pitch and released a tirade of eloquent abuse, involving - in no particular order - the words, "tw*t," "c*nt," "w**nker" and so on and so forth. An interesting and somewhat unorthodox strategy to adopt with your customers, I must admit. Indeed, it was quite impressive; his mother must have sat him down on her lap in the zoo and carefully taught him how to correctly pronounce those words

It's not that close to Clapham Common, you'll need to get a bus or taxi from there. Very interesting decor here, had a very nice meal, didn't make it to the dance area as we all got too drunk at the meal :)
