Catering for private parties of up to 60 guests is available upon request and seating on the pavement area is provided, weather permitting. On Mondays they play host to the Laughing Horse Comedy Club.

I work around the corner from the Blue Posts and have been going there for lunch regularly for the past 2 or 3 months as the food is OK and we normally get a table (there are normally 8-10 of us).
However, on several occasions they forgot one of the meals and we've had to wait longer for it, been late back to work etc etc.
The last straw was today, they forgot my meal and proceeded to serve my order to someone else who ordered after us. When I complained the waitress said she couldn't give me that meal and I'd have to wait. She checked and said my my meal was ready and coming out next - out it came only to be given to the table next to us. My colleagues had finished eating by this point.
We complained and were told the kitchen staff were new, just not good enough. I got a refund and left hungry.
They lost 10+ customers today and didn't seem too bothered!
Don't bother with this pub, the service is awful, the staff miserable and the beer choice limited.
