The best thing I can say about Punk is that the queue was not that long, however, the bouncers/ security were extremely rude. They poked and shouted at people which put my friends and I off going there again. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there....honestly

Bangers & Mash @ Punk every Friday is my favourite night in London, i go every week! Fantasitc music & a perfect mix which which is fun & different to the usual stuff heard in west end clubs. Expect to hear everything from the Stones & Stevie through to the new romantics of the 80's & the modern likes of MIA, Santogold & Dizzee Rascal. They have live art, face painters, loads of give aways (everything free) & dressed up people giving it all out! Highly recommended but arrive early as if you come after 12am you'll probably need to wait for a while as they'll be at capacity.

I totally disagree with above & suspect this person is a little 'past it' with nothing better to do than post bad (very long) reviews about a brilliant, very popular & over subscribed night! Bangers & Mash is genuinely one of the best nights about in London at the moment! I suggest you check it out & see for yourselves!

Not entirely impressed by the Friday night party at Punk (Bangers and Mash) - It's as though they've copied the early days of Buttoned Down Disco, and stuck it in a more upmarket venue. However it suffers from incredibly lazy DJing; we were probably only in the club for about three and a half hours, and spotted at least seven tracks which were played twice, and one bloody Strokes track that was played three times. For a night that is supposed to pride itself in the music, it was getting to be a bit beyond a joke. As for the crowd... a peculiar mixture of indie kids, the post-work office crowd, some Chelsea kids who'd strayed away from King's Road, and a surprising number of chavs, who'd obviously read about the place in the 'celebrity' gossip pages in the Sun et. al. The night's trying to be different but there's just nothing particularly new or exciting about what they do.
Given that it is a central London club, just off Oxford Street, it does do better than a lot of the tripe around, and you could certainly do a lot worse - but for a hedonistic indie-pop disco? You could do a lot better for a lot less money if you strayed out of Zone One.

I love this place, whilst it doesnt boast the biggest dancefloor or the most sofas in the world. The staff are friendly, the bar is fast to serve you without compromising on service. Decor is great featuring mainly white walls with unusual orange/redlights whilst a whole wall is painted with a scene of a poppy field!
You never have a bad night at Pop - attitude free and great music. They even did a themed kids party night here for a while
