We booked a twin room for one night whilst working in London. Whilst not expecting five star accommodation for £50, we certainly didn't expect a squat themed experience.
The smell of old burnt cooking oil was noticeable upon entering the bar and carried on up to the rooms. The mattresses were the very worst bags of old springs i have ever had the displeasure to lie on. There are no toilets in the tiny rooms, but there are four separate shared ones. Three of these were out of order, clearly having been blocked and left uncleaned for some time. The on-suite shower room was filthy with mould and had exposed wires coming from the broken extractor within the cubicle. The rectangle of old fabric serving as a shower mat was sticky with dirt. Not feeling that the shower was safe or hygenic to use, i opted for a wash in the sink, only to find there was no hot water!
I very strongly suggest that you avoid this pub for accommodation. One of the worst, most uncomfortable nights sleep I have ever had.

Ideally located for the busy West End. Have stayed here regularly for a number of years. Been a change of staff recently & I have to say they are very efficient & friendly. The beer is first class & the food is genuinely home cooked with an excellent range of dishes
