The Fox Club is a members club located in an elegant Georgian townhouse which was formerly the home of the renowned 18th century British statesman, Charles James Fox. The bar and restaurant provide the ideal setting for meeting friends for drinks or for a meal. Business luncheons and meetings can also be held here as well as private functions. The club offers nine air conditioned rooms and suites. They are available to both full and temporary members.

Drinkies, then off to bed...
Although it functions as a private members club in the heart of Mayfair, The Fox Club is open to all for dining and sleeping. Food is simple (roast chicken with polenta, fillet of cod with coriander sauce) and the rooms are homely but modern, some with fireplaces. It’s also not as expensive as its Clarges Street address might suggest.
Private members clubs in London you don't actually have to be a member of!
... does that make sense?
Once upon a time this building was a bordello, but today it’s a private club, albeit with a gastropub and boutique hotel that are open to all. With a menu of simple British dishes that cost £35 for a three course dinner, and affordable rates for the rooms (starting from £200), it’s a lot less expensive than you’d expect from its swanky Mayfair post code.
