I have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at the Sloane Club. The facilities are excellent (plasma TV and Air Con in bedrooms), whilst staff are unswervingly friendly, attentive and patient (even with my two children to cope with!). Breakfast and dinner were superb, both in terms of quality and value for money. The building itself exudes history and guests are welcome to use any of the 3 drawing rooms, the bar (still smoking, thank God) and a lovely roof terrace. The location is quiet, yet less than a 5 minute walk from the Tube, with a good range of shops and services within easy walking distance. A real treat. |
