The Trafalgar is a big sporting pub, particularly affiliated with rugby and football, with Sky Sports, 11 television sets and one large screen. There are two pool tables and a number of gaming machines. They also serve food.

Terrible service. No atmosphere at all. The above review's reveal all I want to say on this pub.

Went today for the first time in a while, seems to have been refurbed into more of a gastropub. Slightly strange incongruity between the staff and decor, but everything seemed fairly optimistic until I went to order at the bar. The large lady who served me after elaborately wiping the bar for a long time would have been more at home in a railway cafe, it was very complicated to order because she had some sort of retort about everything, in the end I felt it was my fault that several things weren't on the menu and that I was foolish to ask for a wine list. Gave up and left without trying the food - other diners seemed to be having a better time.

Cool pub with different styles of furniture everywhere, great selection of beers on tap, nice food menu with options of sharing starters and desserts and good quality food. BUT I WAS SURPRISED WITH THE VERY BAD SERVICE I GOT! I was firstly served by a guy who was obviously new in the place and didn't know anything, but was very friendly and polite. It seemed like he hadn't received any training at all! There was a very large blond lady, however, who seemed to be a supervisor or manager, who was VERY RUDE!!! As the first guy didn't know anything, he would ask the big blond laday who, instead of approaching and doing the talking, would just tell him what to tell me. And he would just repeat what she said, making them both look silly. Later, when they started closing down the place, she just came and shouted to our table to finish up quickly and leave, instead of politely approaching our table and talking decently. I had invited 7 friends over for dinner and that evening will be remebered for that lady's attitude. With so many bars and restaurants in London, we will certaily be spending our money somewhere else...

It is very sad that I have rated this review with a negative. I have for the past
10, years been a regular at the Trafalgar and have seen many changes in design and management. Of recent the pub has had a make over and a new manager.

This new manager said she keeps a diary on those she dislikes and she will be turning the pub around! She even puts up notices on the pub doors saying No CHAVS. This is an abbreviation for Council House And Violence. This is disgracefull. The place is boring and the music is so loud there is no conversation heard...even having to shout your orders to the staff who cannot speak English very well. I have left there over the past six weeks with a sore throat due to screaming a conversation. Until a manager without a power trip, is employed I might frequent it again. My friends are also coming with me to another pub along King's Road.
