Popular local pub, equi-distant between Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green tube stations. Spacious, light and airy inside with large south facing walled garden at the rear. "Andy Roddick" service (nobody serves quicker) behind one of the longest bars I've ever seen in a pub. Unpretentious food menu - the plate of tapas is recommended: the garden is one of London's best kept secrets for lunch Mondays through Fridays, when the sun is shining. Does get crazily busy weekend lunchtimes on hot sunny days when the garden is best avoided. Family run. A large female clientelle is testament to its wine list and food menu.

This pub has just been voted tenanted pub of the year for the whole of the UK so they must be doing something right!I've loved it from the start for its great looks, great food, great garden and most importantly for its great staff that actualy give a damn about the service they offer their customers. An absolute jewel of pub.
