Friendly staff, open area outside where you can watch (and inhale) the passing traffic. Inside has TV screens for the football a cheap pub-grub menu.

It's a nice place for a daytime or early evening drink and the beer is well kept and good qulaity - esp' the Guinness. It can get rougher in the evenings, especially Friday and Saturdays, but most of the time it's fine.

It's hardly spit and sawdust, but it's also no gleaming palace either!
