Conveniently located just a short walk from London Bridge station, Borough Bar is a light, roomy and comfortable bar with its own unique character and energy.

During the day the bar is a popular meeting place for either a tasty bar snack or a meal in our new raised dining area adjoining the bar and by night the energy rises and the venue becomes a great place to chill out or party, with DJ’s on certain nights of the week.

Our menu is extensive and typically British with a whole range of dishes to cater for a quick lunch or a more formal meal and this is complemented by a comprehensive range of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers ideal for any occasion.

And finally we are renowned for our special events and party nights, please speak to the team about the great party/event we can organise! We love to party!! Next time come and join in the fun!

Compared to its impersonal neighbour, All Bar One, this is an ideal bar to frequently visit. I moved to London less than a year ago, so I do feel excited when I have discovered a place worth mentioning to others!

First and foremost, the customer service was outstandingly exceptional - not just one or two members of staff - every single one I interacted with was professional and surprisingly personal- this being a trait very difficult to find in central London.

They remembered our drinks, associated each of us with the rest of our group whilst away from them, paid attention as to whether they had taken an empty glass from our table or not when another staff member was asking how many glasses I needed with my wine and on top of all this they were super friendly and efficient with a busy bar full of punters!

This does not seem like much, reading over what I've just written, but I cannot convey the pleasant feeling our whole group had whilst having our after work drinks at the Borough Bar. We felt the staff really cared about their work.

Oh, and I do need to add- this is the first place in London where we could order cheesy chips without a look of confusion or disgust!
