Best Fish and Chips ever...The Codfather! Excellent food, good service, reasonable prices. Good selection of beers and ales.

While in London last week, we passed this place and looking in it seemed popular and had a lovely look to it. We ordered lunch, nothing too fussy, just a sandwich and a pie. However it took 15 minutes for our order to be taken and then another 30 minutes for food to arrive. When the sandwich arrived, the bread was hard having obviously sat under the lights for too long and my partners food was luke warm. There was little or no apology from the staff who seemed not to really care and found a lot of the customers a nuisance, even tutting at one stage when a customer wanted to change seats. A big shame as this pub has great potential with a lovely decor and is in a super location.

I thoroughly liked the look of this restaurant when I passed it last week so I decided to go in and sample what was on offer. I ordered breakfast and while tea was delivered instantly I was waiting 40 minutes for my breakfast. When I queried why it had not arrived, by staff that didn't appear too bothered, it became apparent the order had not been logged. I receieved very little by way of an apology and when the breakfast did arrive there was nothing special about it and it was only luke warm. It's such a pity as the pub has a good location and look to it.
