Myself and my girlfriend visited (and paid for the pleasure) after getting given flyers for what claimed to be a comedy night, called Maniacts, but which turned out to be a massive scam.
The first warning came as we went into the "Comedy Room", just a tiny function room, with no mike or anything to suggest comedy.
The acts seemed to have no idea what they were doing. Then we recognised a couple from walking through Leicester Square. They were no comedians at all just the people paid to hand out flyers who were now trying to tell jokes!!!
We left and got a mouthful on the way out from the awful middle-aged drunk woman who was running it. An exploitative mess.
