The staff were abrupt. The food was undercooked, staff tried to find excuses rather than admit a problem.

After finally agreeing to sort it the re-cooking to so long that we had to leave. They offered no refund merely a quasi serious apology.

Took my daughter there for her birthday. Terrible service, the waiter couldn't have cared less. I had a Bloody Mary which was practically all Tobasco and no vodka. UNDRINKABLE. Avoid at all costs. Mark

Visiting Album on Thursday night at 8 pm and the bar was practically empty. The staff seemed uninterested and a small glass of wine and a half pint of beer cost £7.50. It's a great shame that such a beautiful building has a dreadful late eighties interior.

Disaster - avoid, waited 1 hour for food, to be served half of it (which was cold) on a quiet Sunday. Really disappointing

I have never left a review for anything before but was so disappointed by my recent experience of album I want to prevent anyone else from going through the same. We were a table of 4 and ordered 4 bowls of soup, a salad and a steak and ale pie. After 35 mins the food had not arrived and we asked the waitress (who was very nice but on her own serving the whole bar and restaurant area) to check on our food. She did not check but told us it should be out in 5 minutes. After 55 mins of waiting we had to go as one of our group was catching a flight. We were then assured that the food was right there so we sat back down and were served. 2 bowls of soup arrived which were cold and we never saw the rest of the order. We left. What a disappointment as the place is lovely and hits the right note on all but the disasterous food and service.

We came across this place during a manic shopping trip on the Kings Road and what a find! Excellent service from a friendly bar-keep who talked us into having a Sunday roast. 10 minutes later we were enjoying one of the best roasts I've ever had in a pub and it wasn't too expensive. It's a sad fact that in this day and age, very few places seem to get everything right, but Album know how to impress. Hats off to the landlord!
