Ye Olde Cock Tavern is the narrowest building in Fleet Street. It was originally on the other side of the road until it was replaced by a branch of the Bank of England in 1887. It was kept as similar as possible, and most of the interior was brought across. They have a quiz night and comedy night on Wednesdays. There are three function rooms and they can cater for private parties of up to 120 guests.

Ye olde cock has very friendly staff, and is the perfect place to chat with friends or collegues without having to compete with loud music. They have a 2 Meals for 7.99 offer on their mains between 12 and 4pm. The menu ranges from Traditional Sausage and Mash to more exotic specials and sandwhiches and bar snacks which all looked nice comming out - our meals have always been superb.
Has some origional features and mixed with more modern decor. The place to be if you are a Lawyer, Clark or Accountant on Fleet St. to Holborn. If your just visiting London or not the above you feel equally welcome - for some reason the atmosphere makes you want to smile - my favorate bar!

Good balance betweem traditional pub and more contemporary venue, this place was pretty lively and is set over a few floors with an interesting layout. Not a place to stay all night, but definitely one where you could probably get a seat on a Friday night and hold a decent conversation without straining your voice above needlessly loud music (am I getting old??).
