The Springfield Bar & Grill is newly refurbished and reopened in September 2013. A wide and varied food menu is available from 12 noon to 9pm Monday to Friday, open for breakfast at 11am on Saturday and Sunday lunch served from 12-8 pm. Serving favourites such as Homemade Burgers, Fish and Chips, Sausages and Mash.



Serving wide and extensive Lagers, Cask Ales, Spirits, Whiskeys and Wines.
Catering for all parties and functions
Live music every Friday and Saturday
A large number of flat screen TVs available for viewing of all the sport action.

I have visited a few times since the long awaited refurb with family / freinds and have always found the service really friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere even when the sports events are on the TV.
Food consistant and great quality: fantastic 'proper'desserts & large portions, locally sourced ingredients and well presented.
I really hope the Springfield keeps up with this quality of service.

Popped into this pub 2 months ago after the recent refurbishment. Didn't bigger before the referb as too many chavs went there and hanged outside.

Well upon entry I can say that the interior decor and new layout looked impressive.

First impressions count a lot and it was impossible to even get time bar as it was 2-3 deep with chairs after the football also the old locals blocked any remaining space. The bar only had one staff member as well. The only way to order a pint was right at the edge behind the pilllar.

Mixed view weather to return again. Hopefully the service/crown will I
