Visited the pub on Saturday 7th Feb 2015. Was down from Glasgow doing some family history research. My mum (a Londoner) and dad stayed in Poplar during the war. Great little pub, friendly bar staff and REAL regulars who were willing to chat and get to know you, but not in a nosey way! Will definitely be in again on my next family history trip.

Great, friendly little pub, full of quirky character. Terrific music 3 til 6 every Saturday afternoon from The Last Project, a band with a rolling membership that variously covers jazz, blues, folk, rock'n'roll, and sixties pop, depending on who's in the driving seat. Always entertaining, and free!

This is the place to be on a saturday afternoon, live band plays to a packed pub,,
sunday karaoke at 5pm, it was better when it started at 2pm and was hosted by Lorraine
she's more fun, but its ok if you don't upset the resident karaoke host by trying to give her a request slip while someone's singing.come and enjoy yourself, it's ok.
