Visited a few weeks ago on a Friday night. Was impressed by the ambiance and laid back feel to the evening. Drinks very reasonably priced too. I forgot to ask what time it closes at the weekend though. Can anyone tell me?

I have been there several times and enjoy the atmosphere, music good, mainly soca with some reggae as well. Drinks reasonable -- long may it continue, just wish it had a later licence.

The Trini Bar is the best place to go for that Trini feel. The music and atmosphere is wicked for that typical Trini lyme.

DJs Zoomer and Soca Massive really take you on a socalicious journey with old and new soca alike.

The Trini Bar is a success in Walthamstow and is sometimes too far to travel to for a 'local lyme'. It's now time to bring that Trini feel to West London.

I have been to the trini bar on a couple of occasions, being from up North it is the only place that I have been able to get the true trini vibes. The venue isn't some flash club, instead I think you could easily mistake the surroundings and atmosphere to a bar lime back home. I felt relaxed, and I generally thought that others around me were just as happy to be in an environment where everything looked and behaved like trinis do. The music was spot on, the drinks were reasonably priced and the staff did there best to promote true trini spirit.
So well done trini bar, if ever you're thinking about franschising, please bring the first one to Northampton, I will be happy to be there every night for my fill of rum, soca and good trini vibes!

As I am from Walthamstow Trini Bar is one of my local haunts. It is one of the few places where as a West Indian I can get a regular Soca fix, but will also enjoy a bit of zouk, a bit of reggae, and even a bit of RnB which they throw in for good measure. It is a cool down to earth place (without being a dive) to just hang with a drink, watch some sports on the screen, even have a bite to eat if you feel peckish. The staff (and the other locals) are friendly but if you just want to be left alone no one hassles you. It's not the biggest of venues though, so on a special event nite (like TnT Independence Day or if there's a private party) it can get a bit crowded and hot. But with an all round good vibe, it's highly recommended in my book.

I visited the bar for the first time on Saturday 30th August 2008 to celibrate T&T Independence Day. The bar had some excellant music, soca, soca and more soca. The tracks were varied, from old school soca, to carnival tunes.

It was a party atmosphere, with most people drinking, wining and wearing red.

Door entry was reasonable at £5.00 (where can you go for £5.00 on a saturday nite?) and the bar was open till 4am. There was also a large selection of trini foods availavle.

Drinks were very reasonable, from leonade at £1.50 a glass to rum and coke at £3.00

There was also a real good vibe in the place with no hositity or attitude. I loved it, i will be back
