I visited the Kings Arms on a Thursday. Service good. Seating upstairs very comfortable. Although my friend and I were not there usual bear clients we were treated very well.I will certainly go again.

What a hole this place is! The guy behind the bar (who is the owner, I think) was really rude when I tried to buy a drink. He was lounging around chatting and when I tried to attract his attention told me to wait my turn then resumed chatting before deliberately serving several other people behind me. If I hadn't been attending a friend's party I would have walked out then and there. Other than revolting bar staff, the place is pretty grubby and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in decades. Friendly clientelle but there are better places to go. Avoid.

My partner & I have been going to London for a few years now and he loves Karaoke, by chance we went into the Kings arms to be totally suprised by the fantastic Karoake and of course the amazing Singers, the pub is full of charachters, but most of all we now get recognised when we visit the pub people are genuinely nice, the bar staff are efficient and good, but all in all 10/10. We will be going there this Sunday and cannot wait as we travel from Cardiff every other monthe to London but no visit would be complete without our Sunday night Karaoke. Well done to the management and staff : ))

Went to the Kibgs Arms on gay pride. Full of judgemental bears. I spent about 10 minutes at the bar waiting to be served. As I am not bald and overweight I ended up leaving after 10 minutes. Without a drink!!!

The Kings arms is a warm friendly gay bar popular with beary / hirsute men of all ages.
The interior is very traditional and it boasts a pretty good jukebox reflecting the age of the clientèle. The bar staff are friendly and efficient and are easy on the eye too, especially if you like your men masculine and burly.
There's an upstairs bar / seating area, although most of the customers tend to congregate around the downstairs bar. There is no smoking or beer garden , if you want to smoke you stand outside the bar, which is usually a great place to chat and socialise, summer afternoons and evenings being a particularly good time. You'll find very little attitude or posing at the KA and its not long before you strike up a conversation there. The drinks seem reasonably priced for central London and its easy to stay a bit longer than you intended.

From the outside this pubs looks very inconspicuous, we didn't realise it was a gay bar until we were inside. The staff and customers are both pleasant, and it was a nice, comfortable place to sit and chat. Drinks can be a bit expensive though. The clientele seemed to consist solely of older, single gay men.

A smallish bar with Olde world charactor, main bar on ground floor and a function/smaller bar upstairs.
Centrally situated just off Oxford Street tucked half way down Poland St.
The Kings Arms is not one of the "trendy Soho bars" but a more friendly, relaxed and full of charactor.
The bar service is prompt and friendly, the Kings Arms is a popular especially on weekends and this does mean that space can be at a premium but this adds to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the place.
The Kings Arms is a gay bar and the clients are varied but overall the core of customers can be described as an interesting mix of older, larger denimn gentlemen.
A very welcoming and enjoyable pub, well worth a visit.

This is a comfortable old 2 storey pub just off Oxford Street. It's is a venue for the more mature and rotund (fat if you like) gay man and their admirers. Some week day evenings it becomes very busy and is difficult to get to the bar. Friday and Saturday evenings are very busy and is also very difficult to get to the bar. Apart from that, the guys are friendly and there is a nice friendly atmosphere. There is very little seating downstairs.
