i recently went to the cross for a friends birthday for the first time and liked it very much the layout was intresting and the music was excellent . but the one thing that did agrevate me was the black doorman infront of the girls bathroom who shon his torch on my girlfriends bum when she walked out the ladies correct me if im wrong but arnt they suppose to do there job instead of herasing the guests i mean i did pay 20pounds to get in there not to see doormen perving on my girlfriend but to have a good time

Well what can i say!
I was recommended The Cross by a friend.
Arrived at The Cross and my boyfriend asked out of curiosity if it was gay night, as we had heard this on our way to the club. Because we asked this the doorman decided we were'nt allowed in, pathetic! He moved the barrier around us so we were no longer in the entrance way, and now left standing on the street.
It was raining heavily and it had took a while to get there.
I would definately not recommend this cub simply for the extreme power trip and rudeness of the idiot doorman.
Get a life, and some respect!!!! (As a result- Turnmills was fab!) So, don't waste your time with The Cross.

Whats good..If you want a glamourous club & women on a Sat night its hard to beat especially Renaissance (once a month) Outside area creates an Ibiza style chill out area.
Whats Bad..Worst security staff in London with real attitude problem! Although club spands six arches main dancefloor only occupies one arch which means there's no room to dance between 12-3am when everyone wants to. Improved air con but still a sweat box. Not enough bar staff

Gorgeous venue, but let down by dreadful security. My partner carted off and searched down to his socks by security staff who insisted he was a drug dealer, with absolutely no justification, during Fiction at The Cross. Realising their mistake, they continued to harrass us for the rest of the evening. A truly horrible and scary experience.
