I would strongly recommend the Falcon to anyone drinking around the 'Queens' Park area.
I recently visited the Falcon with some boyfriends and we had a great time. The service was incredibly quick and the good looking chap behind the bar was extremely friendly and chatty.
The decor is fab and the couches were very comfy - I really didn't want to leave! We just about had time for a quick game of Donald Trump' 'Trump' Board Game - but there was so much more to choose from.
We were just disappointed we didn't get a chance to sample the Caribbean cuisine on offer - smelt gorgeous.

I had my birthday party at The Falcon and hired the "dining room". They pretty much accommodated every need plus some including setting up a really tasty nibbles table including a surprising and fab Cheese Fondue. It went down a storm with everyone including the gourmets of the party. The restaurant has it's own entrance an toilets so it really did feel like our own. Thanks Guys! We had a great night!

8 or 9/10 is ridiculous. 8 or 9 customers per night more like. Bar staff rarely last more than a few months. Prices are amongst the highest in the area. The beers are the same ones (stella, 1664, fosters etc) they've always sold. Bet the two good reviews here could be traced back to IP address of the pub. Totally agree with the other 4/10 posting. There's more atmosphere on the moon. If its so good then why is it always empty when the other pubs in Queens Park are rammed?

The Falcon pub in Queens Park used to be a nice local pub but in its attempt to go more up market means a lot of the former regulars have moved on. There is taped music and a television which provides terestial programmes with the sound blotted out by the music and only and occasionally has a disco on Friday or Saturday nights but does not provide mainstream musib, just mainly West Indian sounds. Most days/evenings there is are insufficiant customers to make a go of things. The local council have plans to redevelop this corner of Queens Park, including the pub. The prices are also high.

No longer intimidating and old fashioned, the modern day Falcon is completely unrecognisable from the pub of old. Now boasting Chesterfield sofas; chandeliers; stencil wall art; multicoloured lighting; and unique clock features (among other improvements), each area of the pub has gained its own distinctive feel. The choice of drinks and snacks available now dwarf what was previously on offer; prices are fair; staff are friendly, and the facilities are much brighter, cleaner and nicer to use. Highly recommended.
