with a selection of fine ales and the best guinness in town.
Sportswise, if you visit the pub on a saturday you will leave sunday morning!

With a comprehnsive thai menu along with traditional fare the food is more than reasonable.

Be warned though if you visit more than thrice you are more than likely going to become a regular-which is no bad thing.

I cannot agree with miffedman. When I was trying to use my debir card I was told about the charges and even recommended for the nearby free cash machine. I agree the food is OK but nothing heavenly.
This is a local pub with very nice people in and very good atmosphere especially during football and rugby matches.

Food was ok, get what you pay for, and beer was nice. However, keep an eye out for added charges if you use a debit card. I was charged, without being told (the only reason i got wind was via the under your breath conversation between the barmaids that I overheard) and when i questioned it they had a good old chuckle and when i suggested maybe the customers should be informed or a notice put up i was brushed off. Additionally, being in retail i know the cost of processing cards so it wasn't to cover those small charges. Maybe I was a one off, but i certainly shall never return.
