Topping the bill, no stranger to the Soundcrash stage 2econd Class Citizen brings his full live show to the Dalston Roof Park. With a new album ‘The Small Minority’ freshly in ears, we can’t wait for his set. His inspiration comes as much from folk music as DMC scratch routines so expect an eclectic and lively musical journey. If you like the Hidden Orchestra or Wax Tailor you’ll love this. Catching his live show under the London stars will no doubt be very special indeed.
Polaroid 85 require little introduction. Since the digital self-release of ‘Fuzzy Mornings’ EP last year, the London-based Polaroid 85 have gone from strength to strength impressing audiences around with their captivating and individual live sound. With a choc-a-bloc summer of festival appearances under their belt it’s safe to say you’ll be hearing a lot more of them in the months to come. Fans of The Cinematic Orchestra, Massive Attack, Fink and Anchorsong are sure to fall in love with Polaroid 85’s sonic journey.
Also performing live Dalston local Detour City makes her Soundcrash debut. Fusing live vocals and electronics, make sure you get along to check this lady out.
