One in five cyclists estimate that they cycle more than 20 miles a month with one in ten getting on their bikes to commute to work every single day.
A number of these cyclists were inspired to take up the sport by Britain’s recent successes in the Tour de France, and with the tour set to start in Yorkshire in less than a month, the number of cyclists is set to jump even higher.
Ordnance Survey has released its OS Ride app which will help cyclists navigate the three UK stages of the tour in their own time and at their own pace. The App contains mapping for all three stages of the 2014 event which are being held on the 5th, 6th and 7th July.
