London South Bank University (LSBU), in the heart of London and close to the vibrant South Bank area, has places left for those still undecided about where to go. It’s a popular destination for many students. On A-Level results day LSBU took over 4000 calls and filled 400 places.
Sarah Gordon, LSBU’s Head of Recruitment and Admissions, advises ‘undeciders’ to use this time carefully and explore course options – LSBU has academics on hand to talk through the various courses available.
You should also think about where you want to study and live – do you want to be close to home or further away? Do you prefer a city or somewhere more rural? Explore your finance options too, there are more options than you might first think – these are all equally important decisions.
LSBU is one of the few London universities to offer a close knit campus community and local accommodation for first year students can usually be found within just a few minutes’ walk of the university. This makes LSBU particularly popular with students who want a London experience but don’t want to live miles from campus.
Above all, get in touch and talk to people who know the score. These are not decisions you have to make alone, but they are decisions you want to get right.
