The prize for the best backyard screening is an even better night. The VIP package includes invites to the opening party and screening of Hellboy II: The Golden Army and a night at the 5 star One Aldwych Hotel for two people, plus invites to the screening for up to four friends.

This sets out some handy hints and tips on the equipment needed, some suggestions for a themed film night with food and drink to fit the bill. Enjoy cinema under the stars as Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House returns for ten nights from 31st July to August 9th 2008. The magnificent Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court at Somerset House will once again be transformed into a full-scale open-air cinema with state of the art giant screen, 35mm projection and surround-sound.

The programme opens with a People’s Premiere of summer blockbuster: Hellboy II: The Golden Army, followed by an inspired programme of movie classics and recent favourites. Arrive early, relax and soak up the atmosphere before the film with good food, drinks and DJs.
